Singapore

Just one night in Singapore - and we spent much of our time recovering at our hotel from the four hour "overnight" flight from Bangalore. However, our visit to the Night Safariwa simmensely enjoyable. Both the tram ride and walking routes give great close up views of animals who tend to move about more after dark than in the heat of the day. The animals included giraffes, elephants, hippos, tigers, leopards, deer, giant anteaters, bats, and many more. A particular highlight was the Creatures of the Night show - and Caitlin volunteered to demonstrate how a civet could detect which hand she was hiding a grape in - but it got it wrong both times!

We're now at the airport, waiting for our overnight flight on an A380 to Sydney - and to start our new lives as an Aussie family. We're looking forward to seeing, family, cats, and clean clothes and the rest of our belongings, but also sad that our fun travels are just about over. Will try to post some photos soon...
